Xavier decided on the products name after polling his Twitter followers.
Launching PipeSocial
Xavier launched PipeSocial in April, 2021.
He posted a Twitter thread on launch day. Within four hours, he had almost 30 subscribers on the waiting list. After 24 hours, Xavier had 40 000+ views on the thread’s first tweet. The website had 300 visitors and there was 65+ people on the waiting list.
PipeSocial had 100 people on the waiting list by May 18.
He launched the first version mid June. It got its first paying customer the next day.
Pivot
In September, he realized that he had built the wrong product and needed to pivot the brand. He created a Twitter thread about his decision to pivot in public. He released a new version 10 days later.

Initially, he offered a lifetime deal to customers. He stopped offering the deal at the end of 2020. He made $1990 on the last day the deal was offered.
He didn’t get his first subscription user until January 22. By February 25, his MRR was $580.50.
Later that month, the service hit $30k ARR and reached the 100 subscriber milestone.
Testimonial hit $100k ARR in September, 2021.
